EA has announced an all-new Wii Tennis game that will use the E3 2008-announced Wii Remote peripheral, Wii MotionPlus, to make the tennis swinging that much more realistic. This was announced at EA Game’s Press Conference during the Leipzig Games Convention 2008 by Peter Moore.
The title is being developed by EA Canada and not only will it use the Wii MotionPlus accessory, but it will also exclusively feature the All England Lawn Tennis Club, home of the Wimbledon Championships, as a playable venue.
Hopefully this new game will be as good as Virtua Tennis and give Wii gamers a true Tennis experience that goes beyond Wii Sports.
