Starting this autumn, Hollywood directors will be making short films exclusive to Xbox Live.
These short horror-comedy films will include directors James Wan (“Saw”), David Slade (the excellent “Hard Candy”) and James Gunn (“Dawn of the Dead” remake), and will only be found on the Xbox 360’s Marketplace.
Microsoft will show a sneak peek at some of these films at Comic-Con in San Diego that’s going on now. The directors will be there to speak about their films.
Microsoft will also be running a “Bringing Comic-Con Home” Xbox Live campaign, just like their “Bringing It Home” E3 2008 campaign. It will run from today until Sunday. This will allow Xbox Live viewers to download interviews, trailers, and get sneak peaks at upcoming movies including The Watchmen and Terminator: Salvation, as well as The Sarah Conner Chronicles next season. As an added bonus, there will also be content from “The Lost Boys” sequel, called “The Tribe”, starring Corey Feldman.
