The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom game is Matt Korba’s USC M.F.A Interactive Media Thesis. Set in early silent film world the PC game allows the player to be mischievous, break the time space continuum, and steal a ton of pie. Record yourself and harness your time bending abilities to cooperate, compete against, and disrupt your past, present, and future selves. Winterbottom’s debut misadventures present whimsical spin on the notions of time, space, and play.
The game got accepted into Indiecade and was shown at their annual independent games showcase at E3 2008 last week. With the artistic and smart yet easy to play puzzle game being shown for Xbox Live Arcade, let’s hope it gets picked up soon.
