Pre-order Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for WiiLucasArts has announced The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed release date in America is September 16th, in Australia it’s September 17th, and in Europe it’s September 19th, 2008, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP and DS.

With it being a multiplatform game, people who own more than one console might have a hard time deciding which version to pick. That’s why LucasArts has released another web documentary highlighting the differences between the platforms. Naturally Star Wars lightsaber fans will go with the Wii motion-controlled version, while the Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 versions will look graphically superior and include the best force-physics. Portable gamers might enjoy the classic missions on the PSP that put you in scenes out of the entire Star Wars saga instead of following the Darth Vader’s secret apprentice game plot, or maybe you prefer the DS touch screen stylus controls.

In the following video the developers don’t show the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions because those were covered in previous The Force Unleashed development documentaries.

The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed experience on your favorite console. Be it Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP or DS.
