In Mario Kart Wii, Mario and friends once again jump into the seat of their go-kart machines for the first Wii installment of this popular franchise. New features this year are an online racing mode, vehicle types, a special balancing system for new and veteran players, and (in its initial release) a special Mario Kart wheel packaged with the game. Please note that the Classic and GameCube controllers are supported, but as a nod to the series’ retro gameplay you won’t be able to do the newly added track stunts / tricks while using them.
Mario Kart Wii’s release date in Europe is April 11th, in Australia it’s April 24th, and in America and Canada it’s April 27th, 2008.
