Resident Evil Zero is being ported to the Wii

Resident Evil 0 (Zero) for GameCube (playable on Wii) The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that Resident Evil Zero is being ported to the Nintendo Wii by Capcom. While the controls will be improved to match the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, unlike the Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, there will be no new content. Basically you’re look at a Wiimake, I mean a REmake, uhm what I’m trying to say is that it’s a direct port of the GameCube version. Right now it’s only set for release in Japan.

Resident Evil Zero was a GameCube-exclusive Resident Evil game released back in November 2002, and was the last of the series’ traditional style, before Capcom changed to the over-the-shoulder perspective of Resident Evil 4. The storyline follows Rebecca Chambers’ ordeal a day prior to the Mansion incident (of the original Resident Evil) and introduced a new character… escaped convict Billy Coen. — Via Neurope
