Ken Kutaragi Lifetime Achievement Award video interview

PlayStation 3 consoleThe Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), has given Honorary Chairman and former President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Ken Kutaragi, the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. It was given to him at the 11th Interactive Achievement Awards (IAA) ceremony on February 7th 2008 at Red Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in conjunction with the annual D.I.C.E. Summit 2008.

Gametrailers were at the event to do an interview with the pioneer of the Sony Playstation, who discusses the past, present, and future of the brand!

I love that he says we’re only halfway where he sees gaming as an interactive media go. He seems like a nice humble man and he looks great for someone who fathered 102.49 million PlayStations, 120 million PlayStation 2s, 25.39 million PlayStation Portables, and 10.49 million PlayStation 3s!
