Are Konami and Climax taking a page from Rockstar’s PSP to PS2 porting of their Grand Theft Auto titles Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories? A fact sheet is said to list the PSP horror game Silent Hill: Origins (AKA Silent Hill Zero in Japan) as a PlayStation 2 title, due for release in March 2008.
The official Climax Studios website mentions a second unannounced project for Konami is in development, but reps for the publisher didn’t respond when Kotaku tried to get confirmation Silent Hill: Origins for the PS2 is that unnamed title. Still, a PSP to PS2 port would hardly be unprecedented.
