The Ghostbusters 3 Videogame is underway and Vivendi have confirmed it will feature both multiplayer and co-op! Just don’t cross the streams. The first video shows scenes colorfully remade from the first Ghostbusters film, from catching Slimer to fighting the Stay-Puffed Marshmallow Man. Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd are getting back together to write the script and revisiting their roles. This is the stuff geek dreams are made of people. 🙂
While the following first in-game Ghostbusters footage is shown, the presenters talk about how beautiful it looks like a cross between Luigi’s Mansion and Gears of War.
Expect “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” to be released at the end of 2008 for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and most likely all other platforms.
