Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune 2 etc. series planned, demo on November 8th, release early on November 19th, and new “Massive Attack” trailer

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for PS3Sony has confirmed that Nathan Drake’s PS3-exclusive adventure is shipping to stores a full day early in America & Canada on November 19th. Australia & Europe will still see the game on the original release dates, being December 6th & 7th, respectively. Sony will release a Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Demo on to the PlayStation Network on November 8th. The Demo will have you play through four levels, you start on a boat shoot-out, then adventure into the jungle, and go tomb raiding.

When developer Naughty Dog’s co-president Christophe Balestra was asked by Opposable Thumbs if Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune would be turned into a series, he responded: “Crash [Bandicoot] was a franchise, Jak & Daxter was a franchise and yes of course Uncharted will be a franchise. It takes a lot of effort to create a universe like Uncharted and there is so much more we want to do. It would be a waste if we didn’t have a sequel to make it even better than the first one.”

The Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune “Massive Attack” trailer highlights some of the game’s finished environments and teasing just a little more of the story.
