September’s American video game sales data from NPD is in, for nearly a year the Nintendo DS and Wii were on top, but not the past month. Halo 3 made Xbox 360 sales fly just above the Wii’s and the launch of Halo 3 at the end of September beat out any game with a landslide of 3.3 million sales in America alone!
Video game sales are up 74% to $1.36 billion compared to last year.
