Soul Calibur 4 (or rather one word, SoulCaliburIV, as cited in EGM) is the newest game in the series for Xbox 360 and PS3 and will hit Western shores in 2008.
As you can see in the trailer below, the game is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. The graphics are so beautiful that it makes me want to trade in my Wii (haha, just kidding). I think it’s the shiny sheen that permeates the characters and makes them look as good or better than what we used to see in FMV sequences. Behold why the soul is burning brighter than ever! * Ivy

* Nightmare
* Raphael

* Sophitia
* Taki
* Tira
* Voldo
* Yoshimitsu
Hilde is an all-new female character in knight’s armor (with a wolf’s head motif) wielding a red lance and a short sword. And, for the first time in the franchises history, you will be able to battle online in SoulCaliburIV.
By the way, Namco has not confirmed that they won’t bring the game to Wii . . . In other words, even though they are working on the Wii-exclusive SoulCalibur Legends action game, that does not mean that they have ruled out bringing SoulCaliburIV to Wii. Even though there would likely have to be a major toning down in graphics, let’s hope Namco makes Wii fans happy by bringing the fighter (and allowing for Wi-Fi play) to the system eventually.
