Halo 3 for Xbox 360Halo 3 for Xbox 360 went gold this week, meaning it’s finished and ready to be produced for its September 25-26 worldwide launch. The FPS game’s list of features keeps growing with the Campaign, 4 player co-op, Team Scoring, Saved Films, Forge, Multiplayer, File Sharing, and an upcoming relaunch for the new Bungie.net website.

This new footage of Halo 3 includes video of the flying Hornet, the Brute Hammer, and the Brute Chopper. Also shown is the first single player mission with one cut scene, and the video editor. Take a look:

The following live multiplayer footage from PAX 2007 on a new unknown map shows new weapons like: the Fire Grenade, Flame Thrower, and the blinding Flash Grenade.

As you might know, you can save your single- and multiplayer in-game footage (Xbox Live Gold accounts gets 6 slots where you can place up to 25MB of these files) on your Xbox 360 hard disk and share it with everyone on your friends list. You can also take screenshots of every moment in a recorded video and each snapshot you take will be shared/uploaded to Bungie.net under your account, so you can make it into your computer’s wallpaper.

Don’t think that’s enough to save all your videos? Bungie accommodates power users with a premium storage option called Bungie Pro. Inside your file share, you’ll find a button that will lead to an Xbox Live Marketplace panel, offering you a one-year “subscription” to Bungie Pro for a planned 750 Points (that’s US$9.38 / €9 / £6.38 / CAN$11.63 / AU$12.38). Buy this, and for the following year, your file share will balloon to 24 slots and 250MB.
