Rocketmen: Axis of Evil blasts onto Xbox 360 Arcade, PS3 Store & PC. Top-Down shooter features 4-player online co-op
Rocketmen: Axis of Evil is a top-down shooter by Capcom, much like Smash TV or Robotron but with a more cartoony style, and is coming to both Xbox 360 Arcade and the PS3 PlayStation Network as well as PC.
It supports 1 to 4 player online (and offline) co-op. You move through various levels blasting literally everything that comes in your path, never letting you finger off the fire button, while the camera pans out to great lengths.

You can create your own character, either male or female and select your race: human, Mercurian, or Venusian and class: fighter, engineer, or outcast. This effects not only their appearance (which is customizable) but also their attributes and weapons. Different characters can have various rates of fire, faster movement, a longer health bar or improved accuracy for example. While default weapons can range from single or double-shot to bullets that ricochet. You will also unlock additional customization options and abilities as you beat quests.
Like all shooters nowadays, left stick controls movement, right-stick aim. In addition to main weapons that include chain guns and rifles, you can equip secondary weapons (more than one, cycling through with the left shoulder & firing with the right) like grenades, missiles and a smart bomb that clears the whole screen of enemies. One secondary weapon is a turret, that shoots any enemy in it’s path! With swarms of enemies on-screen and gigantic boss fights, the game definitely looks fun.
Based on a WizKids Constructible Strategy Game of the same name, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil does not have a set release date yet but expect it sometime in the coming months before the end of the year. View the game in action in these movies from E3 2007.
