Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSPFinal Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is the latest in Square Enix’s barrage of classic remakes and the game is set for release in the US on October 9th this year (Europe is set for Oct. as well, no exact date).

This time however it’s coming to the PSP, instead of the Nintendo DS, and the game being remade deserves it 100% . . . That game is Final Fantasy Tactics on the PS1. A highly regarded classic, the original Tactics was also well known for having some extremely horrible Engrish text (badly translated from Japanese) and an extremely complex storyline that was made all the worse and more confusing because of the bad English translation.

Thankfully, Square Enix is going to finally set the record straight with this PSP update, which includes an all-new English translation! Other additional features include: Updated graphics & music (orchestrated score), beautiful hand-drawn art-style, new CG sequences, a 16:9 widescreen presentation, all new multiplayer co-op and versus modes, new storyline elements and all new job classes!
