This just in! Developer Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 4 is delayed. The game was originally set for release on October 16th 2007 for Xbox 360 and PS3, has now been delayed until the sequel quarter of 2008. Ouch!
To quote the note from the game’s publisher Take-Two conference call: “Take-Two is reducing its fiscal 2007 guidance primarily to reflect the movement of the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007 to fiscal 2008, due to additional development time required to complete the title. The title is now planned for release in the Company’s second quarter of fiscal 2008.”
That’s the period beginning February 1st, and ending April 30th, according to Jel0man. So April most likely (start of Q2).
