S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, prequel to PC FPS, shown in new videos and interview

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl for PCA prequel to the hit PC First-Person Shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is coming from developer GSC Game World and publisher THQ called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky for the PC and is set for release in Q1 of 2008.

The new game features a totally new story set in an alternate universe where you play as the mercenaries against the main protagonist of the first game! The ending will also tie in with the first game, bringing you to it’s opening moments. The setting is largely the same, although there will be new locations for you to fight in.

The key feature is the Global War of Factions where you can go and participate/join various factions by doing missions for them and growing up the ranks of the organizations or you can follow the main single-player storyline. The developer is basically working to expand on every aspect of the first game, even adding vehicles to the multiplayer game if time permits!
