Capcom’s new 2D fighter isn’t Street Fighter 4, but Capcom did announced it will be releasing the 2D fighting game Sengoku Basara X (X pronounced as “cross”) in Japanese Arcades in winter 2007, according to this week’s Famitsu magazine.
It’s based on the Sengoku Basara series, also known as Devil Kings in North America. The game will feature a total of 10 playable characters such as Devil King (Oda Nobunaga), Scorpio (Sanada Yukimura), Azure Dragon (Date Masamune), Forst (Uesugi Kenshin), and Iron Ox (Honda Tadakatsu).
