Square Enix reveals it’s E3 2007 line-up and officially announced Front Mission DS

Square Enix has announced it’s full line-up of games it will have on display at the E3 2007 Media & Business Summit (not including surprises of course) and one thing is very clear. Square, really, really, REALLY loves Final Fantasy. There are no less than five Final Fantasy titles being shown! And some games weren’t on the list, such as Dragon Quest IX for DS. Which is the next installment in that extremely popular series. So we’ll have to see if Square Enix has any surprises in store for us tomorrow!

Square Enix games that will be at E3 2007 include:

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (DS) – A RTS-style sequel to the last years Final Fantasy XII and part of Square’s so-called “Ivalice Alliance” (Games that take place in the world of Ivalice).

Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (PSP) – An updated remake of the original Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1! This is a really good thing due to the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1 isn’t the easiest game to find, and there are still a lot of people who never played that Playstation classic. So even though Square is pushing the remakes heard, I think this one is definitely a worthy game to get the update treatment. Given how old and outdated the original is.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (DS) – In this all-new DS Crystal Chronicles game, all the restrictions on movement from the original have been done away with, leaving an easy to play wireless multiplayer (and single-player) action adventure.

Final Fantasy Origins for PS1 (Includes FFI&II)Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition (PSP) – In this version of Final Fantasy II, the entire game has been re-made, with all new graphics, effects, music, movie scenes, and even some new dungeons, for all around prettier version of the same game you’ve played on the NES and GBA.

Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess (Xbox 360, PC, PS2) – The fourth expansion for Final Fantasy XI, it features all new content and will be coming in this winter.

Dragon Quest Monsters Rocket Slime for DSDragon Quest Joker (DS) – Coming exclusively for the DS on November 26th, Joker allows players to capture, train, and breed more than 200 different monsters from the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii) – In this all new Wii installment, aimed at both longtime Dragon Quest fans and newcomers to the series, players are able to act out the role-playing adventure using the Wii’s motion-sensing controls for an entirely new Dragon Quest experience.

Heroes of Mana (DS) – The next game in the Mana series reportedly features both RPG and RTS elements similar to FFXII: Revenant Wings.

Front Mission 3 for PS1Front Mission DS – Similar to the Final Fantasy Anniversary remakes, Front Mission DS is a remake of the original Front Mission turn-based mech strategy title that was released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo.

Square Enix also plans to finally officially unveil its U.S. Square Enix online store. Merchandise on offer will include rarer items from series such as Master Arms, Mechanical Arts, and Play Arts, as well as items from popular series such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts.
