Konami reveals it’s full E3 line-up. Plans to show English Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer, says game might not stay exclusive

Pre-Order Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PS3!
Konami has a slew of upcoming games for all systems, and just before the start of the new E3 2007, Konami has revealed it’s planned line-up for the show.

They also announced that they will be revealing a brand new English Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots trailer tomorrow at both Sony’s press conference as well as their own, hoping for a repeat of last years show where MGS4 stole much of the limelight. They have also gone on record as saying that the exclusivity of Metal Gear Solid 4 is in question. They would like to keep it on a Playstation platform, since that’s where the series was birthed, but financially it may not be feasible, especially with the sluggish sales of the Playstation 3.

And now to the line-up!

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (PSP) – A remake of the Castlevania classic Rondo of Blood. This marks the first time that game has come to the US.

Silent Hill for PS1Silent Hill: Origins (PSP) – Originally supposed to be another remake, this time of the original PS1 Silent Hill, Origins instead morphed into it’s own unique portable entry in the series. Now a prequel to the 1999 original, Origins hopes to shock players by revealing some of the series’ most closely guarded secrets.

Contra 4 (DS) – Another type of revisit, Contra 4 takes the series back to it’s “Contra III: The Alien Wars” roots, and incorporates both screens for the hectic gun-shooting action.

Dewy’s Adventure (Wii) – As a cute blog of water, Dewy’s Adventure has players using the Wii Remote to alter the chemical composition of Dewy to defeat the villain Don Hedron. A unique platform-style action adventure from the team that brought you Elebits.

Contra: Shattered Soldier for PS2Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party (Wii) – A brand new Wii DDR game that uses a standard dance pad in addition to “dance moves” that make use of both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk!

Fishing Master (Wii) – A Wii fishing game from Hudson that Konami will be puslishing.

Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 (PS2) – Showing that support for the last-gen still hasn’t completely dried up, SuperNOVA 2 is the sequel to the very popular PS2 DDR game.

Konami Kids Playground (PS2) – Designed for the youngest among us, Kids Playground hopes to give preschoolers a leg up on the competition with its emphasis on learning letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. The five games in the series being shown are Frogger Hop; Skip & Jumpin’ Fun; Alphabet Circus; Dinosaur Shapes and Colors; and Toy Pals Fun with Numbers.

Hellboy: The Science of Evil (PS3, Xbox 360, and PSP) – A brand new installment in the Hellboy video game series, this newest game takes brawling with the Satan spawn to a new level. With a portable version that differs from the console.
