It’s not quite the SimCity 5 name you were expecting, but the PC game SimCity Societies due in November 2007 still allows you to create a variety of cities with the unique societies you desire. You can choose from over 350 building types, each of which allows you to combine, connect and re-arrange structures freely.
What makes this game a little different from the previous sequels in the series is that you can also challenge authority and experiment with what happens when independent Sim citizens flagrantly disobey power in an unruly Orwellian society. Or if you are feeling happy, you can build a Fun City filled with Ferris Wheels, Gingerbread Houses, Candy Cane Lamb Posts, and Chocolate Factories! Build an artistic city, haunted town, green city, spiritual community or almost any society you want.
