Taiko no Tatsujin DS is out in Japan this July 26It’s only been announced for Japan so far, but the series did get a U.S. release on PS2, so there’s hope for an English version. Pricing is set at 5040 Yen, which is about $40.

Taiko no Tatsujin DS will have a versus mode in addition to up to 4-player multiplayer in local area network mode. The release date is set for July 26th 2007 in Japan, in case you’re thinking of importing it like so many people do with the Ouendan rhythm games.
