Square-Enix is hard at work on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Wii, not to be mistaken for another new game in the series for DS called Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. The Wii game is claimed to be a sequel to the DS game, other reports say it’s actually a sequel to the multiplayer adventure original on Nintendo GameCube, of course both could be true, we’ll have to wait and see until sometime in 2007.
The new RPG is already hinted at using all the Wii’s features like motion control and online play. The first look you’re about to have shows a young Clavat holding a miasma-repelling crystals and gives the possibility of a dragon Bahamut summon. See the magic-powered airships and the Crystal Chronicles series gets a realistic, more mature, look.
