In a recent interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Tetsuya Nomura talked about the next game in the Kingdom Hearts series. While details about this new project are few, Mr. Nomura did say: “It is not Kingdom Hearts III, but it is an anecdote, extra or side-story, [to Sora’s tale]“.
Mr. Nomura said: “I want to explain what Mickey did in the World of Darkness, and also how he got his keyblade.” But that’s only part of his focus, the portable game will focus on developing the character of Roxas from birth to his disappearance. This to solve the mystery surrounding Roxas, Sora’s Nobody from Kingdom Hearts II.
