First game developer Crytek said Crysis could only run on PC’s with Windows Vista and XP. Then an alternate version of Crysis was quoted (and dismissed) to be in development for Xbox 360. Now Kotaku reports on a job listing for Crytek hints development of Crysis might jump to PlayStation 3.
“If a Crytek job listing for a ‘Console Programmer – PS3’ is to be believed, the game is hitting the PS3. In the section labeled ‘Responsibility,’ the listing goes: ‘Work on various aspects of porting to PS3 and creating solutions to get the utmost out of the PS3.'”
Makes you wonder if Crytek wants the game Crysis, its PC tech Cryengine, or both, on consoles.
