The original Quake III: Team Arena First-Person Shooter game was released back in 1999 for PC by Activision.
The ESRB Ratings website is a great sneak peek into what games we can expect to be released in the near-future. After a search a “new” Quake III game was discovered. Pi Studios are developing Quake III: Team Arena, which will be an Xbox 360 “Blood and Gore, Violence†Mature rated multiplayer game.
Joystiq suspect the classic would be a perfect fit for the Xbox Live service (right alongside older brother DOOM), and the newly enlarged 250MB size limit could make it a possibility.
