Nintendo making new Compare Mii channel on Wii and announced Animal Crossing sold 7 million copies on DS

Nintendo WiiShigeru Miyamoto is Nintendo’s Senior Managing Director, Nintendo General Manager, Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development. But he’s more known for being the world’s most recognized video game developer, creator of industry icons like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Nintendogs. He’s also the behind-the-scenes engine of innovation for many other notable Nintendo breakthroughs.

In his keynote address titled “A Creative Vision” at the 2007 Game Developers Conference, Shigeru Miyamoto talked about how a singular creative vision to expand their audience through entertainment and taking a risk to do things differently drives his work, not only in terms of his world-renowned software, but also in generating key technologies, including the current global phenomena…

Nintendo DS LiteThe Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. Here are the newly made announcements:

* Animal Crossing: Wild World has sold 7 million copies on DS.
* Nintendo is working on a new Mii channel for the Wii, where you can compare Miis and enter contests.
* Miyamoto confirmed you’ll be playing Super Mario Galaxy on Wii this year.
