Microsoft updates: The ep is now available in ALL of Europe!
From today Xbox Live members will be able to download, for free, a special HD version of the South Park episode ‘Good Times with Weapons’ for the next two weeks. Unfortunately, due to restrictions from Comedy Central, South Park in HD will only be available in English (with no options for sub-titles) in the following Xbox Live regions: United States, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. This will be available simultaneously for both Gold and Silver members in those regions. It’s a funny episode mocking Japanese anime with action scene songs such as “Let’s fighting love!” I got the 1GB downloaded within 15 minutes too.
As an extra bonus this week, in Australia and New Zealand Xbox Live Silver members will get free Xbox Live Gold from Microsoft this weekend. Sorry if you were expecting real gold, but you’ll still be able to have some online multiplayer fun from Friday March 9th at 3PM until Sunday March 11th at 9:59PM. I couldn’t resist looking up the “Let’s fighting love!” scene I was talking about earlier. In the actual episode you only see the half-Japanese / half-English song subtitles at the bottom, but in this fansub you see the real meaning of the song at the top. Enjoy finding out what it actually means!
