Vivendi Games’ Sierra Online division today announced the acquisition of Wanako Games, based in Santiago, Chile, who most recently released Assault Heroes on Xbox 360. In it you take on the role of the only surviving member of an elite special forces unit searching for a secret underground lab. Play the mission alone or fight side-by-side with a friend in the two-player cooperative mode.
Sierra Online teamed up with Wanako Games on the development of the Xbox Live Arcade title, Assault Heroes, released on December 13th 2006 that ended up getting a high 77% review scores average. Next up, Wanako Games will bring their artistic expertise to the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, 3-D Ultra Minigolf Adventures.
It was also mentioned Wanako is currently developing a number of other unannounced Sierra Online casual online PC games.
