After two Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games on DS, Capcom are now asking their fans to make a plea to release the third game outside of Japan. Apparently Capcom employees have a short attention span, so they prefer to get your opinion the form of a comic book contest.
The contest began yesterday and ends: 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), Monday, February 28, 2007. Using this comic and the talk bubbles templates provided, add your own text to plead your case for Capcom to bring Ace Attorney 3 to America! Creativity, humor, or even seriousness is welcome! We’ll review the cases and make our choice.
How to enter? Submit your images and text to email@example.com Please provide your name, address, phone number, and email address. Up to three (3) entries are allowed per person; only a person’s first three (3) submissions will be evaluated.
What are the prizes? Two Phoenix Wright collectible figurines and one Phoenix Wright collectible lapel pin. You can only win if you’re 18 and live in the USA though.
How are the winners selected? Capcom will evaluate all the entries and will determine three (3) winners. Winners will be selected on or about March 1, 2007 from all eligible entries received. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules and Capcom’s decisions.
Winners will be notified by email. All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.

When you get right down to it, they wouldn’t be doing this contest if “Ace Attorney 3” wasn’t surely going to be translated into English. I mean, else this would just be cruel and it seems a pretty around-the-bush way of estimating the interest of fans of the series. So it’s good they’re hinting at another sequel, they’ll get no objection here.
