You decide the future of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live

Xbox 360 Live 12 Month Gold CardTeam members from Microsoft’s Xbox team are asking what you’d like to see appear in the future on Xbox 360, Xbox Live, and Xbox.com. The console makers usually do this via questionnaires, nice to see Microsoft taking a public approach. So be sure to comment on both of their websites:

1. at Ozmandias.com Andre asks: “What do you want to see? Think big here – ideally, think about what you want to see over a five-year period, and how your ideas evolve over that time. What’s the crawl step for your idea? The walk? The run? … you should assume that any ideas discussed publicly here are just that – public. Microsoft may use them in product ideas.”

2. at Majornelson.com Larry adds: “Andre has posted a call out to the community of what you’d like to see on Xbox Live. With your input, you have helped mold what the service is today. You talk, we listen…that’s one of the ways we get feedback. I get a couple of hundred emails each week suggesting new Xbox Live features and I pass those onto the developers here in the building…so we are listening. But now that Andre has kicked off the conversation again…I’d like to take it bigger: what are your suggestions for Xbox 360, Xbox.com and Xbox Live teams?”

One of the things might be more than one Xbox Live Arcade release per week. To go with Microsoft’s whole mediabox mentality, the Xbox 360’s mediaplayer should support more codecs. And with all the demo and video downloads a five to ten times bigger harddrive is a must!
