Alien Crush (fan favorite) is Hudson’s next Wii Virtual Console TurboGrafx release

Alien Crush from TurboGrafx on the Wii Virtual Console
Hudson’s John Master Lee gave a hint on the Hudson forum toward their Monday December 11th TurboGrafx game release on the Wii’s Virtual Console by saying: “All brain, no skull. All eyes, no nose.” He mentioned that best of all, it’s one of the most requested games that fans want. (At least Hudson are listening, are you Nintendo? We want Super Mario RPG & Earthbound worldwide!)

While snooping around the Hudson site, and fiddling with the URL’s, Bbps.com found confirmation that Alien Crush was that mystery game coming to the Wii’s Virtual Console classic game download system! All TurboGrafx games so far have been priced 600 Wii Points ($6).

The Alien Crush description from Hudson reads: “Ready for some pinball action? Alien Crush literally redefined how “video game pinball” is made today.

At first glance, you’ll notice the H.R. Geiger inspired theme. When this game came out back in 1989, there was nothing like it (save maybe Contra)! Don’t mistake Alien Crush for a pinball game simply dressed in slimy, extra terrestrial clothing.

The ambiance it shares with those alien movies continues as soon as you release your ball from your “face hugger’s” egg. Smash the cocoons and obliterate the emerging aliens with your ball before they can get away! Keep an eye on the queen alien on the bottom stage, she’ll occasionally spew out drones that you can smash for points. Do enough damage to her and her spawn and she’ll open her jaws. Smack the ball in there and you’ll be given a bevy of bonus points.”
