The action RPG Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP is the fourth entry in the “Compilation of Final Fantasy VII” project, which includes Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII for mobile phones, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children for DVD and Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus for PS2.
FFVII: Crisis Core allows you to play Zack, Cloud’s counter-part from FFVII and this game’s hero. Of course Aerith, Cloud, and Sephiroth make appearances as well. Battle in real-time and come face-to-face with such legendary summons like Bahamut.
Here’s the latest video of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which will be released by Square Enix exclusively on the PSP. Apparently this footage was sneaked out of the Tokyo Game Show a while back and has now been put on Youtube. Even in Japan the release date has been set for a vague Q1 2007.
