The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess review video (Wii)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for WiiLink, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free, and with the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness.

When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Using the power and unique control of the Wii console, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess features precise aiming control using the Wii Remote. The Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller are used for a variety of game activities, including fishing and special sword attacks. Players ride into battle against troops of foul creatures using an amazing horseback combat system, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed.

For Nintendo’s long-awaited Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the designers have split the game into two versions — one for GameCube, and one specially designed to make use of the Wii utilizing the powers of the Wii controller for all-new ways of exploring Hyrule.

The much anticipated title is upon us, and if you picked up a Wii, you better have this legend with it. Find out all about it in this The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess video review.

To quote the video review: “In the first couple hours there are some issues that arise where what the game is asking you to do isn’t clearly illustrated, and it’s frustrating that Midna picks and chooses where she can help you reach high platforms, but nitpicking aside, the experience is practically peerless. To create a game this large with so few flaws is just staggering.

Twilight Princess gives you just about everything you were hoping for in a new Zelda game while supplying things you didn’t even know you wanted in the first place. The tone is decidedly darker, the overly melodramatic moments are subdued, and it deliverers that razor-sharp Zelda gameplay. When you compare the polish and content in this game to most other video games, it’s just no contest. Not only is Twilight Princess the best Wii launch game, it’s easily one of the greatest games ever created.”
