New details revealed for Final Fantasy V: Advance

Final Fantasy VSquare Enix seems to be on a roll! Final Fantasy fans are set to be getting portable re-releases of every classic game in the groundbreaking and beloved Final Fantasy series, as Square continues to update and release them for Game Boy Advance & Nintendo DS.

After previously releasing Final Fantasy IV Advance last year and Final Fantasy I&II: Dawn of Souls the year before, both for GBA, even more classic Final Fantasy titles are on the way. This November we will not only be getting Final Fantasy III on DS, but the GBA will be getting an updated port of Final Fantasy V!

Some more details on the game have finally been revealed. It will include four new jobs that are exclusive to the GBA version. The jobs are: Gladiator, Prophet, Bomber and Necromancer. But the majority of the improvements to the game are subtle, such as reorganized menus, updated or tweaked dialogue, and improved sound quality. Probably the biggest addition to the game however is a brand new dungeon. Known as the Sealed Ruin, it includes 30 floors of dungeon-crawling, monster-fighting mayhem, with a high difficulty level. Which will fit in perfectly with the rest of the game, which has always been regarded as one of the more hardcore titles in the Final Fantasy saga.

Final Fantasy V: Advance
is set for release in the US on November 6th (has yet to get a European date). And you can snag yourself a copy of Final Fantasy III for the DS that same month on the 14th! Looks like Final Fantasy fans will be in heaven this holiday season.
