Mario sculpture made entirely of food cans!

New Super Mario BrosOn Thursday, Nintendo of Canada and Canstruction joined forces to create a canned sculpture of Mario, in honor of New Super Mario Bros. becoming the fastest-selling game in the country. All cans used in the art are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank.

This awesome feat of human engineering ways 2,600 pounds and is 10 feet tall! The entire sculpture is made of cans except a few instances such as the mustache, which use food bags instead. What I wonder is how long it actually took them to construct this thing, and how people can actually be so creative. Excellent work Nintendo! Now I need to figure out how to build one of these in my house . . . . . View all the pictures below.
