French developer Quantic Dream (the team behind the acclaimed adventure game Indigo Prophecy) has a brand new game in development known as Heavy Rain. This assumed adventure game had a very unique and interesting trailer displayed at Sony’s booth at E3. While no indication of how the game is actually played can be gleamed from the trailer, neither were any gameplay details of the game released, the trailer does effectively show off the powerful technology the PS3 provides. According to the developer, this entire trailer is rendered in real-time. Offering a deep level of detail rarely seen in games up until this point, with human characters showing a range of realistic emotions and animation.
