Nintendo WiiHudson Soft, developers of Lode Runner, Bomberman, Bonk, R-Type, Ys and many other games, will be bringing more than 100 titles to the Wii’s Virtual Console. Additionally, the company is attempting to acquire rights to other third party games to release on the Virtual Console. Apparently, the company has “every single one of their lawyers checking into it,” to allow them to buy the rights from developers who no longer exist.

If you take a look at Hudson’s game list, a quick count of Hudson’s TurboGrafx-16, NES, SNES & N64 games reveals over 200 games! The TurboGrafx-16 title Bonk’s Adventure is the only one confirmed as its playable at E3 on Wii’s Virtual Console.
