Singstar 80\'s with Microphone (PS2)The SingStar games on the Playstation 2 sold over 4 million copies in Europe, so it comes as no surprise the series will come to Playstation 3 in a big way. SingStar on Playstation 3 is a karaoke title that will let you set your own play lists, from 300+ songs.

The Playstation 3 game lets you download the songs you choose from both the initial 300+ library and new songs as they release them online, as well as upload and share audio feedback alongside EyeToy performances, snapshots, and scores. Select portions of your files can be transferred to the PSP to show off on the go as well. EyeToy connectivity, customizable skins, an exclusive new microphone (wired or wireless).

E3 update: As to what you’ll be singing on the PS3, well it looks like that will be entirely up to you, with a new iTunes-style service giving you full control over your PS3 playlists and karaoke classic selections. This was demoed, with a song taking perhaps less than 30 seconds to come down the wires. And while Sony refused to give an absolute confirmation of pricing, they did say it would cost no more than a typical iTunes track
