Splinter Cell Essentials for PSPAfter learning about the death of his daughter, Sam Fisher is nowhere to be found. Also features all the weapons and gadgets from the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell franchise, in addition to some new ones exclusive to the PSP system version. Includes accessible Wi-Fi multiplayer to challenge your friends in Spy vs. Spy Deathmatch multiplayer mode.

Can Sam Fisher sneak his way to success on the PSP? Find out in this Splinter Cell Essentials video review.

To quote the video review: “Similar to the controls it’s dissapointing to see a game that broke new ground on consoles only deliver a fraction of the experience on the PSP. The graphics are decent, but fans should expect more out of a Splinter Cell game. Each level is very linear and dark. While Sam Fisher is at home in the shadows, it’s hard to appreciate the visuals when you can’t see them. You have night vision goggles in certain levels, but you also might get sick of seeing most of the game in green after a while. And the animation can get buggy when Sam has trouble interacting with the environment

While Splinter Cell veterans might celebrate this PSP debut and anyone eagerly anticipating Double Agent later this year will enjoy a sneak peek at Sam Fisher’s next mission, Essentials is one of the worst games in the series. After everything the franchise has done and seen, it’s hard to be impressed by a game like this.”
