Gifts are certain items that you can find scattered throughout the game during particular Quests. These special items increase chemistry or “Friendship” between your characters and you exponentially.

Dragon Age 2 Cheats List
There are several cheat codes available for Dragon Age 2 for the PC. First you need to follow these directions.
Step 1: Make a shortcut to the “da2.exe” file on your desktop (normally found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age 2\bin_ship folder). Step 2: Right-click the folder and go to Properties. In the “target” field write this: -enabledeveloperconsole. Here is an example of how it should look: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age 2\bin_ship\DragonAge2.exe” -enabledeveloperconsole Step 3: Once in game, activate the Cheat Console box by pressing the tilde key (~). Step 4: Take note that after entering a cheat below, you won’t be given a notification that anything has changed and you won’t see the cheat console when you are typing. These things are normal. Pressing enter while typing will close the console. Note that these cheats don’t work with the Steam version of the game.
1. Add Any Member To Your Party – Type: runscript zz_dae_debug 2. Add Experience – Type: runscript addxp (will make your character level up faster). 3. Adjust Friendship/Rivalry Level – Type: runscript zz_app_debug (Brings up an interface for adjusting the friendship/rivalry of a companion) 4. Attribute Buff (By 1 minute) – Type: runscript dbg_setattrib x y (x=attribute, y=amount) 5. Change Personality – Type: runscript zz_per_debug (To view or change Hawke’s personality) 6.
