Battlefield Bad Company 2 PSA: Friends Really Against Grenade Spam

FRAGS Friends Really Against Grenade Spam Battlefield: Bad Company 2 logo
Remember kids, only YOU can prevent random grenade spam!

That’s the message that EA DICE is sending our youth in this funny parody video which pokes fun at the banned Modern Warfare 2 video that had the word “FAGS” in it, rebranding that with a new “campaign” using the slogan “F.R.A.G.S.” . . . i.e.= “Friends Really Against Grenade Spam”.

The official text for the video:

“CC Sabathia and Private Terrence Sweetwater take time to talk about the problem close to all our hearts… random grenades. Together with Friends Really Against Grenade Spam (F.R.A.G.S) and the useful tips in the PSA video we can put an end to the shameful waste of grenades and team play, together.”

Here’s the comedy video.

Not much is known about her, other than Cerberus has contracted her to assist Commander Shepard in the mission to save mankind. In exchange, she requires help with a dangerous heist to infiltrate the vault of a deadly criminal known as Donovan Hook.

Kasumi is master of stealth and eluding her enemies, her unique skills and technical expertise will be a valuable assets to Cerberus and Commander Shepard.”

In order to get her to help you, the player must first assist her in infiltrating the vault of criminal art collector Donovan Hook.

The DLC mission also includes a Locust weapon, a new achievement and other goodies. Also remember that the Firewalker DLC is expected to release sometime this month.

Torchlight 2 being considered by creators

Torchlight 2 in consideration. Box artwork for first game
Torchlight 2 is definitely on the radar say the creators of the first game, which has been a major hit.

Torchlight is an action RPG by developer Runic Games, and was released last October to critical acclaim. At the Game Developer’s Conference 2010, Torchlight picked up the award for “Best Debut Game”, for which two of the creators of the title were onhand to accept the award.

Backstage, Kotaku got to talk to them and during the video interview they made it known that there is DEFINITELY consideration for a sequel to their hit game, which was developed by a small team of about 15. Who have now become successful enough to own a REAL studio.

Definitely great to see small games like Torchlight succeeding. I almost bought it several times on Steam myself.

Metro 2033 codes and achievements list (Xbox 360, PC)

Metro 2033 box artwork (Xbox 360)
Below you’ll find Metro 2033 cheat codes and an Achievements list for this post-apocalyptic shooter from Ukrainian-based 4A Games. The game itself is based on the Russian novel of the same name by author Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.

The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside. You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind.

Pre-Order Bonus Code for Auto Shotgun

Those who pre-ordered Metro 2033 from GameStop received a nice, exclusive bonus in the form of the Auto Shotgun. The weapon could be downloaded as DLC if you have a voucher with the code that came with your reserved copy of the game. Those who reserved the game through Steam got a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla (but did not get the Auto Shotgun).

We’ll add any cheat console codes later, at least if they exist.

OnLive release date is June 17, 2010, at a price of $15 per month

OnLive release date is June 17, 2010 (USA) for streaming service. Micro Console coming later
OnLive will be released on June 17th in streaming Internet form at a cost of $15 dollars a month, announced company CEO Steve Perlman at GDC 2010. This marks exactly one year after OnLive was announced at GDC 2009.

The date above is when the service will officially go live, via a downloadable application/plug-in for both Windows and Mac (as well as some Smartphones) that allows you to play the highest-end PC games directly in your browser as-is. The launch will be limited to the lower 48 states in the USA (so Hawaii and Alaskan gamers, as well as those in Canada or Mexico, will be out of luck for now) and international dates have yet to be announced.

The Micro Console will be launched at a later date. With this small, physical piece of hardware, gamers can actually hook the OnLive gaming system up to any TV and then, with an Ethernet cable plugged in, you can play high-end PC games using the OnLive Cloud service directly on your TV. Alternatively, you can simply play on your computer with the application and monthly fee on June 17th.

However once you have paid the $15 monthly fee to sign up for the service and downloaded the application, you will then need to pay an additional price to download individual games (which, when you think about it, isn’t much different than Xbox Live). Although you can demo them first or simply “rent” them, and you will have access to all the community features like your profile, friends list, Brag Clips gallery, etc. by signing up.

Additionally, the first 25,000 people who sign up for the service via the OnLive web-site will get their first three months of OnLive service FREE. Multi-month pricing and other promotions will also be revealed as the launch date nears.

Publishers signed-on to make their games available via OnLive include Electronic Arts, Take-Two, THQ, Ubisoft, Epic, Atari, Codemasters, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Games confirmed for the service include:

1. Assassins Creed 2
2. Mass Effect 2
3. Borderlands
4. Metro 2033
5. Dragon Age: Origins
6. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Once the service has launched, OnLive will continue to be updated for the future. Starting in 2011, high-definition 1080p games running at 60 Frames-Per-Second will become available. And then of course, it will slowly be rolled out in other territories.

If you know nothing about OnLive, watch this video which explains it. You can also see a list of additional games that may or may not be supported.
