The game lets players build their own Brotherhood of Assassins, manage the fortress where they all stay, and send them off on covert missions against the Templars. The game includes over 40 assassin’s for players to take care of. This includes fan favorites like Ezio, Aguilar, Shao Jun, Claudia, and Machiavelli, though the developers created over twenty new assassins for Assassin’s Creed Rebellion. The game explains that all of these characters are coming together due to a new version of the Animus being created that merges the memories of several assassins together.

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is set in Spain during the height of the Spanish Inquisition. In the Brotherhood HQ, players can add new rooms to it that let them craft new items and train their assassins. Players send teams of three assassins on infiltration missions, which can net players things such as resources to upgrade assassin’s and materials for crafting. One can receive new assassins by collecting their DNA fragments during missions.

The developers also stated with this announcement that the game game will be optimized for iOS devices running iOS 8 and Android devices running Android 4.1; Assassin’s Creed Rebellion will also use at least 2GB RAM.

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion does not have a release date or window outside of the “Coming Soon” shown in the trailer.
