Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic Weapon Location
• How To Get The Khvostov 7G-0X: To get this Exotic primary weapon, you need to know where to find the Exotic Khvostov 7G-0X Quest, since knowing how to complete the “We Found a Rifle” questline that nets you it as a reward. You’ll also find out where the Exotic Khvostov Weapon Part locations are in the very first mission of Destiny where you originally got your ship, and how to find the Khvostov Pages by killing enemies in Quests.
– Step 1: How you get started depends on whether or not you’ve kept your original Khvostov gun.
(EASY WAY) Dismantle your original Khvostov gun that you got with a new character to get all Khvostov 7G Schematics immediately!
(HARD WAY) If you do not have your original Khvostov gun anymore, you can find the Khvostov 7G Schematics near the Plaguelands Patrol “Foundry 113” spawn (to the right side) by killing a Brood Mother there (appears randomly). This gives you the Splicer Intel Relay that you can use at the wall where you started Destiny at (near the Cosmodrome; where all the abandoned cars are). You should first kill the army of enemies you’ll find there, then you’ll be pointed towards a chest in the corner of the cave / room (the cave is near the laser activation pad), and that chest will give you the Khvostov 7G Schematic.
– Step 2: Next, you need to pick up 10 Pages by killing 10 enemies on the Playgrounds. These Khvostov Manual Pages will drop for you as you go through Quests.
– Step 3: Finally, you can visit the Plaguelands Patrol “Foundry 113” to get the 3 Parts you need.
(PART 1) Go back to the Cosmodrome’s “Restoration” Mission, where you originally got your ship. Once there, an on-screen triangle icon will point you where you need to go. Walk through the indicated door and look below the metal stairs to find a Weapon Part.
(PART 2) Once again, an on-screen triangle icon will point you where you need to go. Go back to the Cosmodrome towards the Ascetics Prime Strike where you fight three waves of enemies, go through the door (until you’re almost outside) and on the right-side corner (next to two lights) you’ll find the second Weapon Part.
(PART 3) Here too, an on-screen triangle icon will point you where you need to go. Keep going until you’re outside where the Walker Tank is. Jump on the nearest building roofs until see a destroyed bridge left of the Walker Tank. Jump down the building at turn around to look for a blue barrel where the third Weapon Part is lying on the ground next to the building.
– Step 4: Take the 3 Weapon Parts back to Shiro-4 at the Iron Temple in Fel Winter Peak to complete the “We Found a Rifle” questline and he will give you the next Quest, a Mission-based “A Khvostov Rising” Quest on Earth near The Cosmodrome where you have to fight & kill a boss to get the Khvostov 7G-0X. Which you’ll then be able to use to finish that Quest. After that’s done you still need to go back to talk to Shiro-4 to complete the Quest, so you can keep the Khvostov 7G-0X.
– Details: Easynow explains how to complete it step-by-step.

– Details: The Thorn hand cannon that holds 6 rounds can be found on Mars, deep within Charlemagne’s Vault. It’s a reward for completing an Exotic Bounty that you sometimes get from the Postmaster. – T3hPhish & Datto explain how to complete it step-by-step.
Exotic Bounty Reward Mission 2 Description:
– Step 1: Do bounties and turn them in when you get a yellow reward (there’s a slim chance to get this Vanguard Mentor Missive). It will tell you to turn it into the bounty robot called Bounty Tracker. Who offers you three different bounties. Two of the bounties will sound like they are for the Warlock class and the other one like it’s a Hunter class weapon. Choose the one called “A Light in The Dark”.
– Step 2: If you chose the Warlock-sounding bounty, the bounty will tell you to do “The Summoning Pits” Strike Mission on the Moon to get a weapon (with a friend needed to complete it).
– Step 3: From the Strike you get a depleted hand cannon, next turn in the bounty and it will give you another one to charge the gun with energy. The objective being to kill 500 Hive enemies on the Moon.
– Step 4: Turn that in and the bounty will update again, this time telling you to get 500 kills with void damage in multiplayer and that death will slow your progress. Each kill is worth 4 and each death is -2, so this step won’t take long to complete.
– Step 5: Then the bounty will update again. It will unlock a new Strike Mission right next to “The Summoning Pits” for level 26 with a skull on, which makes everything more aggressive, all knights and wizards have shields as well as there being more enemies. The bounty tells you to kill the minions of Phogoth (the giant laser-beam ogre) until Xyor spawns. So take your time to upgrade your armor to reach at least level 25 and bring two level 25 friends with you to complete it.
Tactics idea: One of you can sit in a corner just to spawn the other two. The 30 second respawn time will be hard, especially when Phogoth and the wizard swarms try to spawn kill your team. But eventually you’ll kill enough minions, and then a tombship will come in and drop Xyor on the battlefield. – Turns out, he’s just a regular wizard! With a yellow health bar and and a bit of extra health, but not too much worse than the other yellow wizards.
– Step 6: Eventually you’ll kill him and the bounty will pop up saying to turn it in. Technically, you don’t even have to kill Phogoth, so your Fireteam can go to Orbit and back to the Tower to turn in the bounty right away. — Finally, The Speaker will give you Thorn.
– Heads Up: Certain Exotic bounties require you to charge their Core by dismantling 10 Rare or higher quality gear (like Fusion Rifles). So be sure to save all your Rare gear.
