Let’s begin the guide by showing you the first 10 minutes of zombie encounters as an intro to the video guide.

It shows an overview of the map so you know how to survive when you first play it and get your bearings. So you can more easily find the map’s own set of Challenges to complete and to find out where you can find the Perk machines with a set location (they do not move) and what they give you.

Video starts at 1 hour and 4 minutes:

Item Location Tip: The in the previous COD game so-called 3D Printer & Weapon Upgrade Stations are now called the Mystery Box & Pack-a-Punch Stations, respectively. These locations are also indicated on the in-game map with a questionmark box/square & up arrows/triangle.

Here are all the steps to take to finish the Revelations easter egg puzzle:

This next guide will give a step-by-step playthrough of the sequence of events you’ll need to complete to finish the puzzle.

Before we begin, you’ll need to go through a few tutorials in this map to get properly prepared to progress through the Easter Egg steps.

TUTORIAL #1: How To Turn On The Power Locations Guide & How To Unlock The Pack-A-Punch Machine:

The Pack-a-Punch Machine can be obtained after turning on the power. It is always in the same spot. As well as the mentioned power generator location on Revelations.

Power Station Locations: After you explore & open up the Revelations Zombies map, override the 4 Corruption Engines (at the back of the squid-skull-like altars) around the map. At a cost of 500 each, you’ll bring the power back on on the entire map.

Corruption Engine #1 Location: On Round 1 in the spawn room of the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map. To get there make your way through the spawn, from the middle to the back.

Corruption Engine #2 Location: In the back of “Der Eisendrache” section of the map.

Corruption Engine #3 Location: In the “Mob of the Dead” section of the map.

Corruption Engine #4 Location: In the “Verruckt” section of the map.

After overriding all 4 Corruption Engines, return to the “Nacht der Untoten” map area and walk up the staircase to find a panel with a green screen and 4 lit green lamps next to it, indicating the power is on. Next, wait until the Apothicon Gate Worm that’s flying across the map crosses paths with the “Nacht der Untoten” section you’re standing in. When it’s right in front of you turn on the green panel and the electricity from the panel will electroshock the worm stay there & to open its mouth. Now you can enter it by walking into its mouth to be brought to its stomach, since the worm was the one who ate the missing Pack-a-Punch machine.

Pack-a-Punch Location: Once you arrive in the belly of the Apothicon Gate Worm beast, shoot at the yellow parts that connect the stomach to the walls and the stomach will fall down, open up, and drop the Pack-a-Punch machine out for you to use here permanently, at a cost of 5,000 each time. – Walk up to the machine to trigger the trophy.

• A short guide showing you how to find the Pack-a-Punch Machine and the power switches in Revelations.

TUTORIAL #2: How To Get The Upgraded Apothican Servant Wonder Weapon:

The Apothican Servant Wonder Weapon can be picked up in zombies mode on the Revelations map. Here’s how to upgrade it from Estulla Astoth into Estoom-oth…

The new upgrade can be obtained after turning on the power across the map and uncovering the Apothicon Gate Worm’s Pack-a-Punch Location in its belly. It is always in the same spot.

• A short guide showing you how to find the Pack-a-Punch Machine Machine and to upgrade the Wonder Weapon in Revelations by throwing it into the machine at a cost of 5,000.

TUTORIAL #3: Where To Get All New Perk Locations:

The new perks can be obtained after turning on the power on Revelations. They are always in the same spot.

• A short guide showing you where to find the Jugger-Nog perk machines in Revelations.

TUTORIAL #4: Where To Get The Free Perk:

A free perk can be obtained on Revelations thanks to a wall run easter egg in the sky due to a wall-running trick on the right side of the map. It’s in “Der Eisendrache” section of the map, after you’ve activated the anti-gravity. Which can be turned on by going to the triangle in the middle of the room and standing on each pressure plate until you hear a click & the light’s on.

• A short guide showing you where to find the free perk in Revelations.

TUTORIAL #5: How To Obtain The Wolf Mask Guide:

Wolf Mask Location: In “Der Eisendrache” section of the map. First activate zero gravity at the pyramid by standing on the 4 square panels. Then throw a grenade inside the hole in the wall at the top of the Crypt and a wolf skull will float / fall out. You can only collect the blue souls you need next when the zero gravity is on, since that’s the only time the wolf skull is floating in front of the Crypt, indicating you’ve activated it, since it needs the souls of the zombies & parasites you kill to feed it. Kill 15 of these enemies in close proximity to the wolf skull for the killed zombies’ souls to be sucked into the wolf skull.

Once you collect enough souls the wolf skull will disappear alongside an audio cue, and the Wolf Mask can be collected at the stage with the clothing dolls & chests around it; Go through the nearby archway and follow the path down to find a door that leads to a derelict theater where it is at the back of the stage.
Interact with the mannequin that’s wearing the Wolf Mask AKA Wolf Hat to equip it. You can now sprint longer with this “Sprint duration increased” ability.

Tip: Essentially the Wolf Mask gives you (by association) an Upgraded Stamina Up when used in combination with the purple Stamin-Up perk!

• This video guide shows how & where to get the Wolf Mask.

TUTORIAL #6: How To Build The “Guard Of Fafnir” Dragon Shield:

Also on Revelations you can obtain the Dragon Shield. It’s a secret weapon that shoots green dragon fire, and of course serves as a fully offensive shield!

This “Guard Of Fafnir” shield is buildable on a workbench. The workbench is in a room up the stairs near the spawn area of the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map, it’s next to the green screen with 4 green lamps (used to trap the Apothicon Gate Worm). It requires 3 Parts. The “Part” locations are shown in the below video guide.

Dragon Part 1 Location: In the “Origins” starting area left-side it’s either on a wooden crate with a lantern on top of it, look for the green-eyed dragon skull Part on the side/front of it. Or it’s in the same war-torn trench on a wall. Stand in front of it to get the “Hold Square for Part” message on PS4 (X button on Xbox One) that lets you pick up the first Part of the Dragon Shield.

Dragon Part 2 Location: In the “Verruckt” section of the map, look for a pile of dragon bones either on a wooden bloody desk with papers on it and a big light above it or it’s on a pillar. Both should be in the same room upstairs.

Dragon Part 3 Location: In “Der Eisendrache” section of the map. First activate zero gravity at the pyramid by standing on the 4 square panels surrounding it, then you’ll be able to reach the last dragon part high up on a wall, usually it’s above one of those blue-lit eye symbols on the walls.

• This video guide shows how & where to get the Dragon Shield.

TUTORIAL #7: Where To Get All “Keeper Protector” Summoning Altar Part Locations:

After picking up all 3 Summoning Altar Pieces (which can spawn at multiple different spots) you build the Summoning Altar, which unlocks the Keeper Protector for use in-game. The Keeper is incredibly useful to advance in rounds quickly. He will kill zombies and also revive you if you go down!

After finding all 3 parts you must craft the Altar at “Der Eisendrache” section of the map in the back of the derelict theater (look for the circular stone wheel on the wall left of the mannequins), and then you can summon a Keeper for 5,000 points.

Summoning Altar Piece 1 Location: The Keeper skull can be found in the “Verruckt” section of the map. It’s either in a storage rack right of the perk machine or up the stairs in a wooden wheelchair at the house entrance.

Summoning Altar Piece 2 Location: The Pink Gem can be found in “Der Eisendrache” (Kino der Toten) section of the map. It can be in the stone rubble next to the pyramid. Or go past the pyramid towards the Crypt and look on the ground right of it. Sometimes it’s also on a table next to the blue jump pad that’s near the derelict theater.

Summoning Altar Piece 3 Location: The Red Flag can be found in the “Origins” (Mob of the Dead) starter area of the map. Look for it on the sandbags in front of the staked-through up-in-the-air zombies. Or it can appear in the Cafeteria right of the perks machine. Alternatively you may find it in multiple spots around the blue-gems-stuck-in-rocks area.

Hint: Building the Summoning Altar is required to complete the in-game “Craft the Keeper Protector Altar” Challenge and is useful for unlocking the trophies / achievements titled “Keep Close” and “Wardrobe Change”.

• This important video guide shows how to get the Summoning Altar Parts & where to build it to get the Keeper Protector.

TUTORIAL #8: Wisp Locations Guide:

Each of the Wisp locations in Revelations are shown below. Interact with a Wisp to hear Monty (blue Wisp) or Shadow Man (red Wisp) talk.

Wisp Location #1: Can be found in “Der Eisendrache” section of the map.

Wisp Location #2: Can be found in the “Origins” (Mob of the Dead) starter area of the map.

Wisp Location #3: Can be found in the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map.

Wisp Location #4: Can be found in the “Verruckt” section of the map.

Wisp Location #5: Can be found in the “Origins” (Mob of the Dead) starter area of the map again.

• Finding all Wisp locations on the map, which can take a long time without this short video guide.

TUTORIAL #9: How To Obtain The Al’s Hat & Keeper Mask Guide:

Al’s Hat Location: Can be found in the “Origins” (Mob of the Dead) starter area of the map at any time. No special requirements, just pick it up. Take the stairs down from the blue-gems-stuck-in-rocks area to go underground all the way down until you reach it next to a well-lit open toilet.

Keeper Protector Mask Location: As described in TUTORIAL #7 above, you first need to build the Summoning Altar. Then summon a Keeper Protector (an A.I. buddy that has your back) and let it kill over 20 zombies. When you hear the audio cue the Keeper Protector Hat will show up on a mannequin* in “Der Eisendrache” (Kino der Toten) section of the map.

*To find the mannequins, from the pyramid area go through the nearby archway and follow the path down to find a door that leads to a derelict theater where it is at the back of the stage.
It can be collected at the stage with the clothing dolls & chests around it; Simply interact with the mannequin that’s wearing the mask/hat to equip it. You can now take/do more damage with this “+1 hit from zombies / 50% damage reduction from enslaved keepers / Player does 33% more damage to enslaved keepers / Keeper protector lasts 30 seconds longer” ability.

• This video guide shows where to get Al’s Hat (starts at 2:13 minutes) & the Keeper Mask (starts at 3:11 minutes).

TUTORIAL #10: How To Obtain The Viking Mask Guide & Upgraded Purple Juggernog Perk:

How to obtain the free Upgraded Purple Juggernog and the Viking Helmet guide.

Viking Mask Location: In “Der Eisendrache” section of the map. Shoot the clock in the following order: 115;935. If you’ve done it right the bell will ring. After that you’ll have to fill up the 4 Urns (with blue sparks around them) around the map by getting 5 headshot kills on zombies very near to each Urn (there’s 1 Urn in each main area as shown in the video below). – When you hear the audio cue on each Urn the Viking Hat will show up on a mannequin* in “Der Eisendrache” (Kino der Toten) section of the map.

*To find the mannequins, from the pyramid area go through the nearby archway and follow the path down to find a door that leads to a derelict theater where it is at the back of the stage.
It can be collected at the stage with the clothing dolls & chests around it; Simply interact with the mannequin that’s wearing the mask/hat/helmet to equip it. You now have more health with this “+1 hit from zombies” ability.

Tip: Essentially the Viking Mask gives you (by association) an Upgraded Juggernog when used in combination with the purple Juggernog perk! It increases the player’s health from 100 to 250 (price: 2,500 points).

• This video guide shows how & where to get the Wolf Mask and Upgraded Juggernog.

TUTORIAL #11: How To Obtain The Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask Guide:

Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask Location: In the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map where you’ve trapped the flying Apothicon Gate Worm. Go into the beast’s belly through its mouth — to where you previously shot its stomach to get the Pack-a-Punch machine — and opposite the Pack-a-Punch machine is a green acid bath section.

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #1: The first step starts when you walk into the acid bath and wait for the beast to start growling and for the green mist to appear, once you see the green mist clouds stay in the little green “water” part of the belly at all times, while you kill incoming enemies only with your knife or shield melee attack! Once you’ve killed a handful of enemies that way the Apothicon Gate Worm will make a growling noise as a gong audio cue plays to confirm completion of this first step.

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #2: The second step similarly requires you to stay in the misty green acid bath, and involves you having to kill 3 different types of spiders with shield bash. Do this successfully and you’ll hear the completion audio cue again.

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #3: The third step similarly requires you to stay in the misty green acid bath, and this time you have to kill 3 different types of Margwas (the red fire, purple void & regular orange Margwa from Shadows of Evil). You have to shoot off the first 2 heads, but the 3rd head that actually kills the Margwa needs to be taken out by pressing the R2 trigger button on PS4 / RT trigger button on Xbox One for the shield to blast off the Margwa’s last head. Do this successfully and you’ll hear the completion audio cue on each of the 3 types of Margwas you kill.

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #4: The fourth step similarly requires you to stay in the misty green acid bath, and now you have to headshot a handful of flying Keepers. Do this successfully and you’ll hear the completion audio cue again.

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #5: The fifth step similarly requires you to stay in the misty green acid bath, and your next task is to shoot the facemask off a Panzer (keep firing until it happens), then when the Panzer’s face is revealed you’ll hear the completion audio cue again (and then you can kill the Panzer whatever way you like).

Apothicon Mask Unlocking Step #6: The sixth step similarly requires you to stay in the misty green acid bath, and your next task is to shield blast / shield melee 3 different Furies. More Fury will spawn in during the later specialty rounds (like the bug/dog/max ammo rounds). Do this successfully and you’ll hear the completion audio cue one last time.

Then the Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask can be collected at the stage with the clothing dolls & chests around it; Go through the nearby archway and follow the path down to find a door that leads to a derelict theater where it is at the back of the stage.
Interact with the mannequin that’s wearing the Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask AKA God Mask to equip it. You can now survive longer (up to 10 hits!!) with this “+1 hit from all enemies / Spring duration increased / Player does 50% more damage against all enemies / 33% damage reduction from all enemies” ability.

Tip: Essentially the Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask gives you (by association) an Upgraded Double Tap when used with the purple Double Tap Root Beer perk you get simultaneously upon pickup!

• This video guide shows how & where to get the Apothicon / Shadow Man Mask.

EASTER EGG STEP 1: How To Get Started & Gravestones Locations Guide:

Finding the start of the main Easter Egg quest and lists the requirements to complete it.

Here’s the correct order to shoot the Gravestones at to progress the Easter Egg. This “Origins” (Mob of the Dead) area of the map is located in the spawn and the step can be done very early in the game.

Look on the left side of the spawn, and out of reach 4 Gravestones — belonging to Takeo, Richtofen, Nikolai & Dempsey — are on top of rocks that are floating in the air. Shoot these Gravestones in the order that the characters have died to make the Gravestones catch fire. The order is:

– On the left side shoot the 2nd/right stone (Richtofen),
– Next go to the right side to shoot the 3rd/left stone,
– Then on the right side shoot the 1st/left stone, and
– Finally on the left side shoot the 4th/right stone.

• Step one involves finding the Gravestones locations around the spawn area of the map. All steps will lead to the storyline conclusion.

EASTER EGG STEP 2: Audio Reel Locations Guide:

All 3 Audio Reel locations in Revelations have been discovered.

Requirement: To get it you’re required to have unlocked the Keeper Protector, so you can summon him to fight alongside you. How to get the Keeper is shown in a tutorial above involving you picking up 3 Summoning Altar Pieces to build the Summoning Altar.

Audio Tip: To play the Audio Reels, put each one on the Audio Reel Player in the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map. Follow that section’s red glowing wires up to the building’s first floor and look for the red sign with a white cross that reads something like “Aperrbereich”, the Audio Reel Player is to the left of the sign on a brown box. — Alternately, find another Audio Player in the “Der Eisendrache” (Kino der Toten) section of the map when you walk onto the stage of the derelict theater.

Audio Reel Location #1: Sophia Recording – Take the Keeper to the Jump Pad of the “Verruckt” section of the map. Once there he’ll start doing a summoning chant indicating the start of 1 to 2 rounds of zombie attacks on him. Protect him at all costs by taking down all attackers. Do this successfully and the Keeper will disappear, leaving behind the Audio Reel on the ground near where he was standing.

• Step two involves finding Audio Reel locations on the map, which can be played back to unlock more of the story.

Audio Reel Location #2: Subject 26 Recording In the “Nacht der Untoten” section of the map where you’ve trapped the flying Apothicon Gate Worm. Go into the beast’s belly through its mouth — to where you previously shot its stomach to get the Pack-a-Punch machine — and opposite the Pack-a-Punch machine is a green acid bath section. Around that area you can see small holes near the ground, throw a Lil’ Arnie in 3 of the holes to trigger 3 Margwa’s to spawn near the acid bath, and then kill them all. Do the Lil’ Arnie holes trick 3 times in a row and then you’ll have killed a total of 9 Margwa’s. After that the Audio Reel will appear on the ground nearby, next to a human skeleton.

Audio Reel Location #3: Last Recording Find 6 Sophia Body / Bone Part locations on the map and turn those into her body and then into the last Audio Reel. Starts at exactly 3:20 minutes (until 6:28) into this video guide.

EASTER EGG FINAL STEPS: 100% Guide:

• While this is a 100% complete video, if you’re continuing from STEP #2 above, start at exactly 6:27 minutes into this guide.

It took 10 days to solve this Super Easter Egg, the longest puzzle yet, but finally here’s the ending cutscene!

Tip: While all this can be done on Solo, it’s recommended to tackle the steps with a Co-Op partner to make it easier. Since they can hold off the zombies while you take aim at the next target.

There you go! You will soon have all the details you need to complete the hidden Easter Egg puzzle in the new Revelations map.

Big thanks to Activision, MrDalekJD, NoahJ456, ThePegiGames, MrRoflWaffles, Powerpyx & Jake for the discoveries on & after launch day!
