Wall Glitch

During the story Campaign Mode’s tutorial, you might encounter this stuck-in-the-wall glitch if in “Mission 1: Release” you fight enemy soldiers close enough to a wall to kick/punch them into it head-first! – But hey, at least he doesn’t have his head stuck up his *ss! Haha, come on… someone had to say it! 😛

Bug Fixes

How To Fix Glitches: Download the latest patch for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, EA will use patches/updates to try and fix the most common glitches in this PC, PS4 & Xbox One title. Whereas the required install size for the main game is 25GB, the Day 1 patch takes up another 928MB of your harddrive space.

Here’s the list of changes that will be implemented on June 7th, 2016.

An update contains changes that are permanently stored on your system and only needs to be downloaded once. You can download the latest update by launching Mirror’s Edge Catalyst while connected to PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or Steam. You will be prompted to install the update if you do not already have the latest version.

Here’s what Patch 1.01 fixes:

• Fixed Lighting issues on spawn in.
• Stability improvements.
• Performance improvements.
• Xbox One: Support for dynamic resolution.
• Xbox One: Fixed an issue where the cut scenes could get out of sync with the audio.
• PC: Introducing a new Graphics setting – Hyper.
• PC: Improved minimum spec GPU support, improved GPU memory detection and increased customization in Video settings.

How To Fix FPS & Stuttering

If while you’re playing Mirror’s Edge Catalyst on PC you’re experiencing lower than ideal frames per second (FPS) or even stuttering gameplay, you should first check if your system can handle the game.

• Minimum PC System Requirements:
– OS: Windows 7 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
– CPU: Intel i3-3250 / AMD FX-6350. (Note: Mirror’s Edge Catalyst requires at least 4 logical cores to run.)
– RAM: 6 GB
– HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space
– VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB or better / AMD Radeon R9 270x or better
– INPUT: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

• Recommended PC System Requirements:
– OS: Windows 10 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
– CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz
– RAM: 16 GB
– HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space
– VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB or better / AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB or better
– INPUT: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

If you can handle the game, then for PC users there’s a myriad of causes that might be causing you issues. That’s why, as of June 7th 2016, the latest driver numbers for both NVIDIA and AMD cards have been recommended downloads so your graphics card is fully up to date to play the game with less/no issues.
