Priced at £65 & $70, a Far Cry Primal Collector’s Edition, Deluxe Edition and Apex Editions have been announced for America & Europe. There are really only two different versions you need to know about, these special editions have different content exclusive to the region. Far Cry Primal releases on February 23rd, 2016 for Xbox One & PS4, and March 31, 2016 on PC.

Differences With US Special Edition: Contains a “Player’s Guide”-style 68-page “Wenja Phrasebook” which looks to detail the animals and a & creatures and also contains the “Wenja Audio Recordings” on the soundtrack CD which help teach you to understand the languages of the tribes. Both of these are NOT available in any of the American editions.

America also gets the “Apex Edition”, which simply includes the Standard version of the game plus the digital content mentioned above.
All Pre-Orders will also receive an extra three exclusive “Mammoth Missions”.
It is not known whether any more Far Cry Primal special editions will get announced between now and next year.
For now, it seems that North America may miss out on the Phrasebook & Audio Recordings… Which seems very odd.
Maybe they will be selling them separately or digitally?
For now, the PAL regions definitely seem to be getting the better end of the deal.
