SYNOPSIS
FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS is an action-role playing adventure exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS system. Either through solo play or with up to three other Explorers, players can dive into dungeons to collect crystals scattered throughout the world while battling classic FINAL FANTASY enemies.

FINAL FANTASY EXPLORERS focuses on cooperative play with friends and utilizes a refined party system allowing Explorers to master over 20 new and familiar jobs, including Knight, Monk, Black Mage and White Mage, to defeat the realm’s mightiest monsters and even recruit them for battle. Players will have the ability to call upon the powers of Eidolons like Ifrit and Bahamut, as well as transform into other legendary characters from the FINAL FANTASY series via the Trance feature.

Here’s a Final Fantasy Explorers trailer.

STORY:
The world is on the brink of war over its reserves of crystals, the planet’s chief source of power. Players must band together to form an elite squad of Explorers on an island rich in crystals, braving hordes of monsters in hopes of conquering a newly discovered Grand Crystal – every Explorer’s dream.

Key Final Fantasy Explorers Features:

* A Four Player Adventure: Band together with up to four other players either locally or afar via the Nintendo 3DS wireless communication. Form strategies together to take on challenging dungeons and powerful bosses!

* Highly Customizable Characters: Customize jobs, weapons, armors, accessories, and abilities to suit your individual taste and play style. No two Explorers are the same.

* Over 20 Jobs to Explore and Master: Take up your favorite FINAL FANTASY roles, from series classics including Knight, Dragoon, and Black Mage to the highly specialized Samurai, Time Mage, Dark Knight, and more.

* Classic FINAL FANTASY Monsters & Characters: Recruit, level up, and fight alongside classic FINAL FANTASY monsters and transform into legendary figures from the storied franchise, including Cloud, Squall, and Lightning.

* Over 100 Hours of Gameplay: With over 200 quests, 20 jobs, and endless party configurations to discover, players never have to stop exploring.

Another great RPG for 3DS! I am losing track!

While I am not a huge fan of the MMO-style, the Action RPG gameplay still looks like a blast. Toss in so many classic Final Fantasy elements, from jobs to summons to the return of TRANCE mode from Final Fantasy IX (think the Limit Breaks from Final Fantasy VIII), and you have one heck of a impressive product.
