Batman: Arkham Knight DLC Release Date & Price Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment had the Batman: Arkham Knight DLC release date & price revealed today. You can get this new downloadable content both in an all-in-one Season Pass and as individual DLC packs.

After the June 23rd, 2015 launch of Batman: Arkham Knight, the creators will continue telling stories and delivering more content to explore and play through in the 6 months following the game’s release. They’ll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that they wanted you to experience, even though they didn’t fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight.

• Flashpoint Batman Skin Bonus DLC
Release Date: Available.
Price: Free.

Description: The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass includes an exclusive Flashpoint Batman Skin, which is available now.

• Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC
Release Date: July 14, 2015 if you have the Season Pass and July 21, 2015 for the individual DLC.
Price: $6.99 / €6.99 / £5.79 individually or $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99 as part of the Season Pass.

Description: The first story DLC. An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series – check out the first render of Batgirl.

It’s the first story driven add-on for Batman: Arkham Knight – Batgirl: A Matter of Family. Set prior to the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batgirl: A Matter of Family will allow players to take on the role of Batgirl for the first time in the Batman: Arkham franchise. This exciting story add-on features an all-new location with multiple missions, side quests and secrets; a new hacking feature to progress through the world and solve puzzles; and Dual Play functionality with Robin for dynamic take-down manoeuvres. Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available 14th July for fans who have purchased the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass and are connected to the Internet, or it can be purchased separately on 21st July for $6.99 / €6.99 / £5.79 on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft.

The Batgirl: A Matter of Family add-on content was developed by WB Games Montréal and was created using the Batman: Arkham Knight engine built by Rocksteady Studios. The remaining Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass add-on content is under development by Rocksteady Studios.

• 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack & Bat-Family Skin Pack DLC
Release Date: August 18, 2015.
Price: $1.99 / €1.99 individually or as part of the $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99 Season Pass.

Description: With the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack, you can get behind the wheel of the Batmobile from the 1989 film ‘Batman’ and outfit Batman with a customized skin from the film. The pack gives you access to two racetracks inspired by both the 1989 film ‘Batman’ and the film’s sequel ‘Batman Returns’. In addition, if you successfully clear the streets of the Arkham Knight’s drone tanks, you can take the Batmobile for a spin on the streets of Gotham City. Separately, the Bat-Family Skin Pack includes 6 skins based on the alternate timelines of your favorite characters including 1990s Catwoman, One Year Later Robin, Arkham Origins Batman, Iconic Grey & Black Batman, 1970s Batman and the Original Arkham Nightwing.

• Crimefighter Challenge Maps DLC

Description: Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.

• Gotham City Stories: GCPD Lockdown DLC
Release Date: Late September 2015.
Price: $6.99 / €6.99 / £5.79 individually or $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99 as part of the Season Pass.

Description: The second story DLC. Play as Batman’s key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Set after the events of Arkham Knight, play as Nightwing to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department in this thrilling story pack.

• 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack DLC
Release Date: Late September 2015.
Price: Individual price TBA. Included in the Season Pass.

Description: Inspired by the 2008 movie ‘The Dark Knight’, intimidate your foes with the Tumbler Batmobile and race through two themed tracks.

• Original Arkham Batman Skin DLC
Release Date: Late September 2015.
Price: Individual price TBA. Included in the Season Pass.

Description: Fight the war against Gotham City with the original Arkham Asylum Batman costume.

• The Season of Infamy DLC
Release Date: TBA. Late November 2015.
Price: $6.99 / €6.99 / £5.79 individually or $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99 as part of the Season Pass.

Description: The third and final story DLC. Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features. Batman will battle against six legendary villains including Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Black Mask, Mister Freeze, Ra’s al Gh?l and Prometheus.

• Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks DLC
Release Date: TBA. Likely November 2015.

Description: Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman’s 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile’s specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.

Description: A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

As you can see, the Season Pass delivers regular new content for six months featuring new story missions, more Super-Villains invading Gotham City, new legendary Batmobiles, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.
