MIRACLES DO HAPPEN! 😀 The E3 2015 Sony Press Conference broadcast aired today, has revealed brand new information about Sony’s PS4 & PS3 game lineup. Sony’s E3 2015 keynote conference started on June 15th at 6:00PM PDT / 9:00PM EDT / 2:00AM GMT and lasted an hour and a half. What follows is a bulletpoints roundup

Exciting surprises this year were: The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Hitman, Street Fighter V: Rise Up, Dreams, World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Shenmue 3.

• The Last Guardian finally re-announced and confirmed for PS4 in 2016. Gameplay trailer shows exciting gameplay of collapsing structures that the boy and his flying bird-cat giant travel across. It’s still unclear
• Guerilla Games announces a new franchise called Horizon: Zero Dawn. CGI trailer switches to gameplay trailer as it shows a battle between man and machine (robot dinosaurs!). Female lead does voice-over for the narrative, so you know what’s going on on this alien planet’s past and present.
• Square Enix announced “the new Hitman” for console and PC. A CGI trailer with epic pumping music as Agent 47 trains for his next contract. Beta on PC and PS4 only (not Xbox One).
• Capcom shows Street Fighter V: Rise Up, which is now exclusive only to PS4 and PC! Birdie, Cammy & M. Bison shown in first gameplay trailer. Beta first on PS4.
• No Man’s Sky gameplay demonstration by the Hello Games creator lead. Sandbox full of choices, such as to to battle or explore.
• Media Molecule announces “Dreams“. A game about surreal dreams, you can explore other people’s dreams or create your own. The game looks like a moving painting! Once your world/room with characters have been created, you can animate them with controller movements like a puppet. This makes the creation process very fluid. For example: Create a game, a play or a movie.
• Firewatch shown again for PS4, as a console exclusive. Same trailer as the PC version.
• First trailer for Destiny: The Taken King expansion shown. His name is Horux. “Experience the next great adventure in Destiny. Become Legend.” Releasing September 15, 2015. PlayStation is getting some exclusive content.
• New Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailer shows you “Don’t mess with Evie Frye.” Special Murder Missions (Sherlock Holmes) exclusive to PS4.
• World of Final Fantasy chibi-style game announced exclusively for PS4 & PS Vita in 2016.
• Square Enix finally create a real HD remake of Final Fantasy 7! It’s called: “Final Fantasy VII Remake“. You can play it first on PS4. No other platforms announced as of yet. CGI trailer
• Devolver Digital indie games coming to PS4 are: Ronin, Eitr, Mother Russia Bleeds, and Crossing Souls.
• Shenmue 3 Kickstarter announced. “The fate of Shenmue III is in your hands now,” says Yu Suzuki, creator of Shenmue, as he comes on stage to share the Kickstarter link: http://bit.ly/saveshenmue
• Batman: Arkham Knight shows new trailer with the Joker being cremated. Scarecrow Nightmare Missions exclusive to PlayStation.
• Morpheus VR headset games in development for PS4 are: EVE Valkyrie, Godling, The Deep, RIGS (eSports 3 VS 3), and Wayward Sky. Sadly no price was mentioned for the PS4 VR headset.
• The Spotify music streaming app got 5 million downloads on PlayStation since the recent launch.
• PlayStation Vue is launching TV service in more cities in America. Battles cableboxes with a la carte channel choices & discounted rates.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 gameplay reveal by Activision. Single- and 2-player co-op in last-gen and single- and co-op up to 4 players on next-gen systems. Developer Treyarch introduces multiplayer demonstration. — PS3 & PS4 will be the first to play all four of Black Ops 3’s DLC Map Packs and the game’s Beta. Likely a timed exclusive for one month like the Xbox deal they had previous years, so Sony outbid Microsoft this time. Next year Xbox gamers will be the ones waiting an extra month for each DLC pack.
• Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition LE starter pack exclusive to PlayStation, and includes an exclusive Boba Fett figure. Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic play set + one month later Star Wars: Rise Against The Empire play set. Both Star Wars play sets arrive one month early on PlayStation.
• Star Wars Battlefront 2015 gameplay trailer. The rocky mountain-sides and characters look photo-realistic! Play solo or co-op, play good or evil.
• The Sony event closes with the first Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay demonstration. The section stars Nate and Sully making their way to Sam’s tower through a lively city, while getting ambushed by fire-happy enemy soldiers and ending with a long car chase.
